Laptop Screen repairs are probably one of the most used services among all the ones we provide.
Every time I get a call from a client, the question is the same though: “why can’t you give me the exact/final price for my screen replacement?”
To help you understand better what happens, I decided to explain on this page what we go through when you need to replace a screen.
First step is universal: we disassemble your computer and carefully remove the screen from it.
Once we have it in hands, we use the part number on the back of the screen to search for it in our stock (we have a lot of pc screens in stock) and replace it.
But this is where the price may vary: When you have a computer – let’s take one of the best-sold computers in the market to give you an example: the HP DV series – even the actual model number is not enough to tell you exactly which screen will be found when we disassemble it. There are screens with 30 pins, 40 pings, hi-resolution, regular resolution, glossy, matte, etc.
We take pride in having the best prices for screen repairs in San Diego, and that’s why we change dozens of screens every week! If you have any questions, shoot us an email, or give us a call and we’ll have them answered for you in no time.
